  1. The Sunday collection last week amount to €3,075. The Sunday Collection is taken up in the church porches on entry to and exit from Mass. Many thanks for your great generosity and your use of the parish envelope.  A user-friendly Tap to Donate card machine stands at the entrances of both churches.

  1. Today, Sunday 1st October, is the Memorial of St Thérèse of the Child Jesus, better known as St Thérèse of Lisieux or the Little Flower. The feast will be marked in a special way at the 11.00am Mass in St Peter’s Church where roses will be blessed and a communal blessing of the congregation with the Saint’s relic will be given.

  1. The St Vincent de Paul monthly church gate collections will take place at all Masses this weekend. Local needs are great at this time.

  1. Rosary and Benediction recommence in the Parish this evening in St. Peter’s Church at 5.00pm. Sunday evening devotions now only take place in the months dedicated to Our Lady, namely May and October.

  1. Friday coming, 6 October is the first Friday of the month. The clergy will visit the sick in accordance with Government and diocesan norms, but only after consultation with the person concerned or their family. Please let the priests know directly, or through the sacristy, if you or your loved one would like a visit by a priest.    

  1. The Divine Mercy Chaplet is recited after the 10.00am Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church each First Friday. The monthly Mass in honour of the Sacred Heard (Pioneer Association) on Friday at 10.30am in St Peter’s Church.

  1. Autumn dues for the support of the Priests of the Parish will be collected over the coming weeks. Many thanks for your great generosity, and to our collectors.

  1. Medical Missionaries of Mary ‘COME AND SEE’ vocations day in Beechgrove on Saturday, 4th November.
